Bibler Joins Platte Valley Cardiology
Dr. Michael Bibler bolsters growing PVMG Cardiology Program

KEARNEY, NE – Platte Valley Medical Group (PVMG) is excited and honored to announce the addition of Dr. Michael Bibler, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, to the Platte Valley Cardiology Program in Kearney, Nebraska. Michael Bibler, D.O., officially joins Platte Valley Medical Group on Monday, September 25, 2017.
“I am very excited to be joining the Platte Valley Medical Group and Kearney Regional Medical Center team and look forward to continuing to serve our patients,” said Bibler.
Prior to him joining PVMG, Dr. Bibler has been practicing in Kearney, Nebraska for the past 12 years. Dr. Bibler earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, now called A.T. Still University, in Kirksville, Mo. He completed an internship at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Mich., and a general surgery fellowship at Genesys Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of Michigan State University, in Grand Blanc, Mich. Dr. Bibler completed a fellowship in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brown Mills, New Jersey. He is board certified in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and general surgery.

The addition of Dr. Bibler bolsters the already strong and successful Cardiology program within Platte Valley Medical Group. Spearheaded by Dr. Sean Denney, Interventional Cardiologist, Platte Valley Cardiology consists of 6 medical providers that are tirelessly helping better the people of Kearney and central, southern and western Nebraska. Providers within Platte Valley Cardiology include Interventional Cardiologists Dr. Sean Denney, Dr. Iyad Azzam and Dr. Tom Pagano; Cardiovascular Disease specialist Dr. Thomas Lanspa and Dr. Sanjeev Wasson, Cardiac Electrophysiologist. These providers make up the most comprehensive Cardiology team in Central Nebraska.
Platte Valley Cardiology has a massive footprint in the Kearney community. But Kearney is just the tip of the iceberg for the Platte Valley Cardiology team. Cumulatively, this amazing team of doctors also do community outreach to 21 surrounding communities in central and western Nebraska as well as northern Kansas. With the primary focus of patient-minded care, these physicians travel to rural clinics and hospitals to bring the Platte Valley care to their neighborhoods.
